Litter: Blast/Sage 2005
Litter Nickname: Autumn (red/white puppy)
New Name: Blastoff Autumn Breeze aka "Autumn"
Litter Nickname: Breeze (black/white puppy)
New Name: Blastoff Breeze of Willow Run aka "Breeze"
We are Alan and Diane Conroy
from St. Petersburg Florida and have owned and trained Border
Collies for the past 15 years. After Alan's Agility/Obedience
competition dog Georgie died of cancer our hearts were broken.
We felt a puppy might help heal our broken hearts and set out
to look for a great pup - A fortunate turn of events brought us
to Tracy and Blastoff
Border Collies . Tracy sent us photos and videos of a 7-week old
Border Collie puppy named Breeze and our hearts melted. We told
Tracy what we were looking for in our next dog: A female who was
not dominant (we have two of those and are fortunate they like
one another) and we didn't want a super-high drive dog. Breeze
filled that order and on top of it she is so pretty! The following
week Breeze arrived in Orlando with her sister Autumn owned by
our good friend Bonnie Sandy.
On January 1st, 2006 she is four-months old and growing into a
wonderful dog. She is calm, easy-going, can concentrate on a task
and yet she has all the speed and drive we could ask for. She
is eager to please and a very good pup. Alan has her in puppy
class and she is learning her lessons quickly and easily - she
is very motivated to work. Alan and Breeze will be training towards
titles in Obedience/Agility/Flyball and we have a herding lessons
scheduled for later this month. This is New Years Day 2006 ! Only
the beginning.
My name is Bonnie Sandy and I am the very proud
owner of Blastoff Autumn
Breeze. We live in Palm Harbor, Florida and are very involved
with the
local dog club. I have a 18 month old BC rescue from hurricane
"Charlie"
and Windy Conditions absolutely loves her new sister. Autumn is
a high
drive puppy, but VERY biddable and a very quick learner. She has
a
tremendous amount of natural herding ability which I plan to utilize
a
little later. Right now she and her sister, "Breeze"
(owned by my very good
friends, Alan and Diane Conroy) are Super Stars in puppy kindergarten!
My
plans for this wonderfully smart puppy include agility, obedience
and
herding! She is definitely a puppy that will be able to do it
ALL! My
thanks to Tracy for allowing me to bring Autumn into our family!

Litter: Blast/Sage 2005
Litter Nickname: Haze
New Name: Blastoff at Uherdit aka "Ian"
BlastOff At Uherdit, Ian is the sweetest most
precious boy, he is currently working in Obedience and is working
very nice. Ian has a great work ethic in obedience and has just
recently decided that sheep are great. I have wanted a blue merle
boy for a long time and I am not disappointed in this little guy.
Ian is not just a dog he is a member of our family. He gets along
with all my dogs, and if you sit down in my house you had best
expect to be having Ian in your lap giving you kisses. This dog
can make you laugh at any time, I just melt when he looks up at
me with that smile on his face that says I love you Mom. Ian is
maturing nicely and next year will make his debut in Conformation,
Obedience and Rally. I don't think there is anyway a person could
go wrong with a Blast x Sage puppy, I should know I have 2!

Litter: Blast/Sage 2006
Litter Nickname: Lilac
New Name: Blastoff Wild Blue Yonder aka "Lilac"
See more pictures of Lilac on her page HERE
When Tracy first got Sage, I met him in the big city of Tulsa,
OK. Tracy and I were both there for CERF testing. She brought
Sage out of her vehicle and he acted like I was his long lost
best friend! Complete with a hug! I thought he was quite handsome,
but I told Tracy that nope, I didnt think Id ever
be getting a merle BC. It just didnt seem like a BC color
to me. I had often admired Blue Merle Shelties though.
I was very impressed with how wonderful Sages temperament
was, especially for only being with Tracy for a short time and
never being off the farm in his previous home. None of the big
city noises concerned him in the least!
Months later I was puppy sitting one of Tracys Simmer x
Sage Blue Merle pups. (Spritz who is now Summer) Summer was going
to be flying with one of my pups in the same crate to France.
We wanted the pups to get to know each other before the flight.
That one day with Summer was all it took. She stole my heart!
So, I told Tracy I just had to have a Sage merlie girlie.
My puppy came from the Blast x Sage litter born on July 16, 2006.
I was thrilled when Blast had 3 Blue Merle females to pick from!
Blast has always been one of my favorites of Tracys.
Lilac is a very high drive pup with the sweetest, most loving
disposition. She is always happy and eager to play and learn.
When I look at her, she looks back with a twinkle in her eyes!
Tracy did a wonderful job raising Lilac. When I picked her up,
she knew her basic obedience commands of Come, Sit, Down, walked
on a leash and was also used to sleeping in a crate. Early training
like that sets the stage for a pups positive attitude towards
learning and life in general.
Thank you Tracy for my wonderful Blastoff Wild Blue Yonder! Shes
a keeper!

Juice is pictured with her big "brother" Zip:-)
Litter: Blast/Sage 2006
Litter Nickname: Magnolia
New Name: Blastoff Turn'N Up The Juice aka "Juice"
My name is Wendy Nelson and I own a boarding
kennel in NC. I work with dogs on a daily basis and wanted a very
biddable, sweet disposition, high drive border collie for an assortment
of canine activities. I own and show one BC named Zip who is a
great dog, but has major sound sensitivity issues. I talked with
Tracy and I decided a Blast pup was the one for me. I waited quite
a while for a Blast pup, but it was definitely worth the wait!
I picked Magnolia, who is now called Juice. Juice has been an
excellent puppy, great with housebreaking and puppy training.
I also teach a canine acting class at a local training facility,
Bon-Clyde. I started training Juice the day after picking her
up at the airport. She is very intelligent and already loves to
work, picking up new commands within a few tries! She loves everybody
and everything. I think Tracy had spent so much time with each
individual pup that Juice was already "programmed" to
learn. When I am ready for another BC there is NO doubt in my
mind that another Blastoff pup will come live with me!

New Name: Blastoff Maple

Litter: Blast/Sage 2006
Litter Nickname: Red Bud
New Name: Blastoff Heart of Gold aka "Jack"
BlastOff Heart Of Gold (aka Jack), His name says
it all he has a Heart Of Gold. I have wanted and been looking
for a red rough coated boy for 6 years. When Jack was born and
I saw him for the first time he took my breath away, I knew he
was the one. I also have been waiting for a long time to name
a dog Jack but it never seemed to fit any of the pups that I had.
I had a dog named Jack when I was a child and it had to be a very
special dog that was going to carry his name. I couldn't ask for
more in a puppy, he is very high drive which is what it takes
to make a top notch Obedience dog, he is loving, he is playful,
he is awesome. Every single time I look at Jack I smile, I love
this little guy with all my heart. I can hardly wait for him to
be old enough to start showing him, I know he is going to do great
things. Tracy I can't thank you enough for my 2 precious boys
or for making my dream come true with Jack. I couldn't be happier.
