Autumn earned her FLYBALL MASTER title (5000 points) in six months
of running tournaments!
Autumn has now earned her FMX (10000 points) in 10 months of running
flyball!

Yes, our little red and white girl earned her Flyball Master Champion
Award this weekend (15K points) in just her short flyball career
of 17 months. I am very proud of her….she ran her best time
ever 4.0 …she was crazy fast all weekend never making a mistake!
She was also a backup dog and had to run for that dog 10 heats
on Saturday as well as her own heats…she never missed a beat
and ran consistently all weekend…she is an amazing dog, but
you know that!

Update 9/15/08
Sam has been on a lot of adventures lately. We spent two weeks
in Canada visiting family. He got to run around acreages and harass
sheep. He had a wonderful time and it was capped off with a flyball
seminar offered by Touch N Go in Edmonton. We just got back into
town last Tuesday. Then Friday I left for another flyball tournament.
We had a very successful weekend. Sam was the start dog on our
“A” team both days and also ran in pairs with my friend’s
border collie named Justin. The big news of the weekend is that
Sam ran a 3.9 second race! The first of hopefully many. Tracy,
I know you aren’t as familiar with flyball times as Chris,
but breaking into the 3 second realm is a big deal (at least to
me!) The fastest dogs in the world run 3.7 seconds. He did it
during a pairs race and we ended up winning pairs on Saturday
with a time of 8.4 seconds. I also saw him run a 4.0 at the end
of the day Sunday, which means his stamina is getting better.
Everyone is watching him and I have had a few people ask me what
breeder he comes from.
And since he was running quite a lot, we got three titles this
weekend! He is now a Top Flight Level III (TF III). He actually
has the same number of titles as my other border collie that does
flyball but it took her about 5 tournaments to get to that point.
Sam did it in two.
Tracy I noticed that you started a flyball page. Great idea! You

Sam is the first dog in all of these videos. These were taken
at least a month ago but it is nice to have something up to show
the world. They look best when you click “watch in high quality”

When we went to Athens our trainer stated she is the youngest
(Next to my Ripli) to make our "A" team so soon!!!!
She pins her ears back coming down to the box and we will have
enough people that I can snag someone to video for us.... her
box turn is to die for, once she is told to "Get Around"...
