Litter: SpotNot/Sage 2006
Litter Nickname: Sparkle
New Name: Blastoff Sophi
Born: July 4 2006

My name is Prudence and I am an avid trail runner. I was looking for an intelligent, smaller dog that could keep me company on long distance trail runs. Sophi is proving to be an excellent running buddy, and my best companion period. She is very well mannered, loves everybody, and is very friendly with other dogs. Thank You to Blastoff Border Collies for such a great dog!

Thanx for everything Tracy.

Litter: SpotNot/Sage 2006
Litter Nickname: Burst
New Name: Blastoff Lil' Burst Of Energy aka "Burst"
Born: July 4 2006

My Name is Si Emerson, I live in Lexington Oklahoma. I was in search of a smart, energetic, trainable, and good companion for my daughter. I began my search for my Border Collie in April of 2006. I first searched my local papers, which lead to a lot of people who did not know much about the breed or did not have answers to my questions. So I took my search to the internet, I e-mail a few people and did not get much of a response. But, when I e-mail Tracy of Blastoff Border Collies, I got all the answers to my questions and she was very helpful and knowledgeable of the Breed. So I decided to go with her. Our little girl “Burst” was born on the fourth of July. Tracy kept us informed on the litters development and helped us pick the best Border Collie for us. We then drove to Westville to meet the litter and pick out our Baby. We chose “Burst”. We then picked her up a week later. She is a very smart, beautiful, and has an amazing personality. She was in very good heath and well behaved. We have begun her in Puppy Classes, and she is by far the smartest and quickest learner in the class. We plan to further training in basic obedience until this spring. We will then direct her training to agility. But most of all she will be and is a great play mate for my daughter. They enjoy training together and playing around. We love Burst very much, and we hope that the rest of her Litter is well too. Burst is now 13 weeks old, and growing into a Great Border Collie. We look forward to a great future with Burst by our side. We also would like to thank Tracy for all her support and help.

Litter: SpotNot/Sage 2006
Litter Nickname: Rocket
New Name: Blastoff Shoot For The Stars aka "Rocket"
Born: July 4 2006

Rocket is quite simply the perfect puppy! He is the brightest pup I've ever had the pleasure of working with. It only took him a couple days to figure out how to run to the door when he needs out, and he learns new things so quickly sometimes I swear he's reading my mind! He is the star of his puppy class, already knowing how to sit, down, come, heel, fetch and wave at less than 12 weeks old. Oh, and did I mention he plays tug like a little alligator? :o)
I plan on competing mostly in agility and obedience with Rocket-man, but may also tinker with things like freestyle and flyball. The sky's the limit really, I dont think there's much this little guy can't do! He is such a sweet puppy with kisses for everyone he meets, and truly never meets a stranger. Thank you again, Tracy, for this wonderful little fellow!
UPDATE ON 01/10/2007
Oh my gosh Tracy, this past month Rocket has REALLY kicked up the drive level! I dont think I've ever seen a dog be sooo driven and biddable, he's a dream to work! His agility is so fast I pretty much have to stay in one place and rely competely on his directionals, he's going to be a force to be reckoned with! Thank you thank you thank you!
I always have 2 little blue eyes watching me, he never lets me out of his site. He's sometimes sneaky about it, peaking at me from around a corner or hiding behind a pillow hehe. I guess he's trying to see what I do when he's not looking. :o) I included one of him sleeping and one of him being sneaky. :o) I'll get more pics soon, but I need a faster camera to catch him fully awake, lol!
Update 02/28/07
I just had to share with you:
I just got back from an agility lesson with the Rocket man, and I got the most wonderful compliment from my instructor who I think very highly of. I had just finished a smokin sequence with lots of twists, backs, and descriminations handled nearly from a stand still relying almost competely on my directionals, and when I finished all my instructor could do was stand there for a moment, then say very softly 'wow, thats a nice dog'. Im totally on cloud nine, I truly have that agility dog 'everyone wishes they had' :oD
I just got a camcorder, so hopefully can send you a video one of these days.

Born: July 4 2006

Tracy,
Attached are pics of Bright. She is a wonderful dog and full of energy as you can see, and incredibly smart and eager to please. She is 6 mos. old now and will soon be starting her agility training. She looks to also have great potential as a disc dog as well. She loves her home and looks forward to her 2 mile run she takes every evening with my husband and other border collie Chaz.
